After two years of dedicated work by the General Plan Update Steering Committee, City Staff, and decision-makers, the Belvedere 2030 General Plan was reviewed and adopted by the City Council at a public hearing on June 9, 2010.  The updated General Plan was developed through the active participation of the Belvedere community in dozens and dozens of committee meetings, community meetings, public hearings, and workshops.  The approval of the General Plan was truly a universal effort and a great achievement for the community.  Please click here to see the three volumes of the General Plan.  Volume 1 contains the Goals, Policies, and Actions, Volume 2 contains the Housing Element, and Volume 3 contains all of the supporting technical reports.

In addition to being adopted by the City, the Housing Element was also certified by the State of California on June 29, 2010.  Click here to see the State’s certification letter and the commendations offered to the Belvedere community.
